Sydney Race Riots - My 2 cents worth.

Ok lets sets things straight here. The world press has had a field day with this incident and pumped up things to make out that the Sydney Scuffles where something like the Paris riots. Well its nothing like this.

This is an age old feud between cultures and modern Multiculturalism and this has been going on since I was a young strapper growing up in West of Sydney in the very early 80's, when then it was the Turks, then it was the Vietnamese, and so on, until today it the so called Lebs. It comes down to a subculture that feels depressed and hard done by and decides to stamp there authority on the streets. This happens all over the world and is quite sad, but usually it is the pure ethnic groups, or new arrivals that are really oppressed, like France.

The case in Sydney has been brewing some time and it all came to a pressure cooker head early December 2005. This was also fuel by the Neonazi Faction as well and a few beers.

I'm not going to sit here and condemn who was right and who was wrong, you'll need to talk to a local Sydney sider to get there feelings on this, and you'll probably get 1000+ different versions.

BUT the one thing that really PISSES me off in this country is Nationalism, your true Identity.

The thing that get up my goat, is these people who where born in this country and don't class themselves as AUSTRALIANS. Now I don't give a rats arse if your a 1^st, 2^nd or 20^th generation Australian, you were born here in this country, not the Middle East, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Russia, China, Vietnam, or bloody Timbucktoo, guess what, you are Australian and if you don't like Australia then get the hell out, and go back where your parents came or fled from and see how long you last, because there 10's of thousands of people who really want to come to this country and live in harmony, peace and freedom.

The few incidences that highlights this is, so called Lebs (Australians) pulling up beside people in there cars and asking if they were Australian and if the unsuspected said yes they were pulled from there car and bashed and done over. This attitude is unacceptable and un-australian.

Now I love this country and have served and defended it for the past 20+ yrs, to ensure that the peace we have and a lot of us take for granted which our forebears fought and shed blood for, is kept true.

If you were born here, guess what, you are Australian

If you take the citizenship of this country, guess what “you are Australian”

If you are visitor, then visit and enjoy yourself and what we have to offer; and

If you live here in this free country and consider yourself a citizen of another country, then give up your jobs, cars, houses, and pensions and go bloody home. We don't need your shit here.

For the Neonazis, get a life and get over it, Hitler is dead and elvis has left the building.
